This is Ben Underwoon, who was blind at the age of 3. With the support of his mom, he began to learn to see with his ears and eventually is able to see with his clicking sound (like dolphins when communicating with eachother), and makes a shadows like he's able to see in the dark (like bats). The Telectroscope

I was watching news few days back and came across this AMAZING human made technology. A GIANT TELECTROSCOPE!! YESS!!! Don't understand?? So, they made a HUGE telectroscope in Brooklyn and London and now they can see eachother as if they are miles away. It's just amazing.. I wish they made one here in Canada and another in Indonesia, so I can still see my love from close (eventhough I can't physically touch him or hug him lol) but isn't it a great invention?? When you have someone far away from you in another country, and just meet up at the location to just see eachother is more than enough. Neck and Back Pain

I have neck, back n shoulder pain.. yessss 3 in 1... It hurts like hell everytime I wake up, and everytime I want to go bed.. I have to stretch my back (actually twist my body side ways to crack it), crack my neck, and put some HOT I mean EXTRA HOT muscular oil on my shoulder to keep it warm and it feels like massaging my shoulder when I sleep. That's EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!! My sister have a similar type of pain too but not too severe, and she is seeing a Physiotherapy now.. He says, it's her school bag that makes her back in pain.. wat bout me?? I dun go to school anymore.. so then I searched around and found out, that sitting also affects your bone structure.. Have I not been sitting properly?? or maybe too long?? I'm not sure.. I just wanna cure my pain... The pain itself feels like electricity running through from either my shoulder or my back, to my hands, fingers and neck... It's really stiff when I tried to massage my shoulder on my own.. but it feels so good..

I want to see a Physiotherapy also, but I don't have insurance here.. so I might as well wait till I start working... Do you know what is wrong with my body?? really need help as I am getting sick of this daily pain....

Update on Menstrual Cramps

As you know.. I have been writing, wondering and looking for solutions about Menstrual cramps on this and this Just now, I have been reading more about it. If you want to know more about how to solve the problem or what caused those cramps.. please read here as I think it gives more information and also lets you know on what medication to use. I use Ibuprofen which it's one of those medication that has high doses. I was afraid coz one of a nurse I know said I shouldn't take too much of Ibuprofen, but it always helps me reduce the severe pain. So I'm not sure which is right. Taking Ibuprofen monthly to reduce my pain, or to take other medication which is no longer working for me as it has a lower doses compare to Ibuprofen

This is a movie that is quite boring I must say, but interesting towards the end. It's a documentary movie about a bus hijacking that occurred in Rio de Janeiro. Sandro Rosa do Nascimento was the hijacker at that time. He intended to rob, but ended up hijacking the whole bus with 11 people. You can see in the movie that he is not a bad guy as it tells about his background. He wanted to get his feelings and message across in a different way. He wanted to show his anger towards the enforcement in Brazil about how they treated people especially when they are in jail.

I personally don't really like the movie, but I get his intentions. You can watch the movie if you are interested.

I just finished watching this movie.. it's interesting yet sad story. It's about a priest who was a pedophile and admitted all his mistakes. But when he is doing the recap of what he had done, it seemed that he doesn't regret any of it, he talks about it with full of excitement and a smile on his face, he even writes a letter to apologize to all his victims and wants to meet them face-to-face to talk about it. I was like WTF!?!?! I wouldn't wanna see him if I was the victim, it just brings back the old BAD memories.

Anyway, watch it and you will know how priests are actually. It's interesting. I am not trying to talk about ones religion as I myself am a Catholic, a Roman Catholic, and am not offended by it, but it actually opened my eyes to what problems in a priesthood are like.

Did you guys join the Earth hour today at 8pm - 9pm? we did.. in fact, most of our neighbourhood did... it's said to save the environment, promote electricity conservation, reduce light pollution and lower carbon emission... and my sister even said that if everyone turns off the light, you can see the stars shining even shinier than you've ever see. Well did you guys see any?? I didn't see any "shinier" stars here coz it wasn't dark in our place... still bright... Google was part of it.. did you?? ;)

P : Mas tau..kesalahannya apa?

S : Gak pak

P : Ini nomor Polisinya gak seperti seharusnya neh ( sambil nunjuk ke plat Nmr motor saya yg memang gak standart..) sambil langsung mengeluarkan Jurus sakti mengambil buku tilang...lalu menulis dengan sigap

S : pak Jgn di tilang degh..wong Plat aslinya udah gak tau ilang kemana ... kalo ada pasti saya pasang pak.

P : sudah...saya tilang saja...kamu tau gak banyak motor curian skrg...(dengan nada Keras !! )

Â· Slip Merah dan Slip Biru.

Â· Kalau Slip Merah, berarti kita menyangkal kalau melanggar
aturan dan mau membela diri secara hukum. Kalau kita dapat Slip Merah, berarti kita akan disidang. Dan SIM kita harus kita ambil di pengadilan setempat. Tapi ngerti sendiri kan prosesnya? Nguantri yg panjang bgt.
Belom lagi calo2 yang bejibun.

Tetapi kalau ;

Â· Slip Biru kita mengakui kesalahan kita
dan bersedia membayar denda. kita tinggal transfer dana ke nomer rekening tertentu (BNI kalo ga salah). Abis gitu kita tinggal bawa bukti transfer untuk di tukar dengan SIM kita di kapolsek terdekat dimana kita ditilang. Misalnya, kita ditilang di Perempatan Mampang-Kuningan, kita tinggal ambil SIM kita di Polsek Mampang. Dan denda yang tercantum dalam KUHP Pengguna Jalan Raya itu tidak melebihi Rp. 50.000,- dan dananya Resmi, masuk ke Kas Negara. Jadi, kalau ada Polantas yang sampe minta undertable Rp. 75.000,- atau Rp. 100.000,- Biasanya di Bunderan HI arah Imam Bonjol tuh, (sorry) but it's Bu**S**t! Masuk kantong sendiri.

Trust me guys, I've been doing this before. Waktu kena tilang di Bundaran Kebayoran (Ratu Plaza). Saya memotong garis marga. Karena dari arah senopati sebelumnya saya berfikir untuk ke arah Senayan, tetapi di tengah jalan saya berubah pikiran untuk lewat sudirman saja. Dan saya memotong jalan. Saya berhenti di lampu merah arah sudirman. Dan tiba-tiba Seorang polisi menghampiri dan mengetok kaca mobil. Dia tanya, apa saya tau kesalahan saya? Ya saya bilang nggak tau. Trus dia bilang kalau saya memotong Garis Marga. Saya cuman bilang, masa sih pak? saya nggak liat.
Maafin deh pak. Tapi dia ngotot meminta SIM saya. Alhasil saya harus berhenti sejenak untuk bernegosiasi. Dia meminta Rp. 70.000,-. Dengan alasan, kawasan itu adalah Kawasan Tertib Lalulintas. "Nyetir sambil nelfon aja ditilang!". Dia bilang gitu . Saya kembali ke mobil, dan berbicara sama teman saya yang kebetulan menemani perjalanan saya. Teman saya bilang, "Udah kasih aja Rp . 20.000,- kalo ga mau loe minta Slip Biru aja". Dengan masih belum tau apa itu Slip Biru, saya kembali menghampiri pak polisi sambil membawa uang pecahan Rp.
20.000,-. "Pak, saya cuman ada segini." Si polisi dengan arogannya berkata , "Yaahh.. segitu doang sih buat beli kacang juga kurang".
Sambil tertawa melecehkan dengan teman2nya sesama `Polisi Penjaga`.

"Ya udah deh pak, kalo gitu tilang aja. Tapi saya minta Slip yang warna Biru ya pak!". Seketika saya melihat raut wajah ketiga polisi itu berubah. Dan dengan nada pelan salah satu temannya itu membisikkan, tapi saya masih mendengar karna waktu itu saya berada di dalam pos. "Ya udah, coba negoin lagi, kalo ga bisa ga papalah. Penglaris, Mangsa Pertama.
Hahahaha..." . Sambil terus mencoba ber-nego. Akhirnya saya yang menjadi pemenang dalam adu nego tersebut. Dan mereka menerima pecahan Rp.
20.000,- yang saya tawarkan dan mengembalikan SIM saya. Dalam perjalanan, teman saya baru menjelaskan apa itu Slip Biru.

So, kalo ditilang. Minta Slip Biru aja ya! Kita bisa membayangkan dong, bagaimana wajah sang polantas begitu kita bilang, "Saya tilang aja deh pak, Saya mengaku salah telah menerobos lampu merah.Tolong Slip Biru yah!". Pasti yang ada dalam benak sang polisi "Yaahh... ngga jadi panen deh gue..."

and they said:

Ex-President Soeharto in Indonesia passed away on Sunday January 27 2008 at 13.10. He has been having a multi-organ failure and has been admitted to the hospital since January 4 2008.

Yes, people know him as a "dictator" but do people see his good side? Or does he actually have one? I don't really know coz I was still really young at that time, but from what I see, I seems like it was much safer than today. But people has different perspective about it..

Not sure what to write about so i decided to write about jobs.. I am now unemployed waiting for a call from a company called "D". Been waiting since November and still no news. "D" company is a company where my mom's friend's husband works. He works at a 'u-can-say' high position in that company. From what I know, having links/network at a company you are trying to apply helps alot. but my question is "WHY"?? Why can't they just accept people from the skills? or from the availability?? Why does it make it easier for outsiders to come inside a company to work with? Is it the matter of trust? Or is it the matter of pity?? I really REALLY want to work there, not because i know someone but because it's WELL KNOWN... and it would be good for my resume. I also plan to work there long term if i get accepted, coz it looks really promising to me.

In other hand, I am trying to go back to school... no class though, it's home schooling where i get to study at home (if i can concentrate lol). This course leads me to have my own plans, where i can work at my own time, have my own space and make money whenever i want. Can't say it rite now as i have not discussed it with my hubby yet. But this also looks promising to me. But then it all leads back to my question. Will people wanna hire me?? or do i need to network still? will people trust me with the certificate/diploma i earn with this course? i know people will wonder why would I do such thing? take courses again?? This course and my previous course i took few years back are the jobs i really wanted and I know I am good at. So it opens more options to me since my family don't own any company. It's also good coz I can make this as my part time job if i'm working at company "D" there i can make DOUBLE money so my family wont have to suffer. I want them to be happy, especially my hubby. I want to make him happy.

So my question is, do you think companies these days hire people more based on whether you know someone inside that company or skills? coz i'm just confused rite now...

It's playing now here in Canada, and the rating is 8.7/10. Pretty good I think especially their 3D chipmunks.. Really want the DVD coz I personally prefer watching it in the theaters plus owning the DVD, but since theatres here are so expensive...cost about $12 including tax, I'd rather spend double of the amount but own the DVD. Today, major snow storm hit Eastern part of Canada and the Northern part of US causing cancellations of so many flights and other public transportation as well as minor and major accidents.

About 40cm of snow fall in Toronto area, Ottawa and Montreal making the Canadian environment described the weather as "dangerous winter weather conditions" until now, the weather network shows Richmond Hill's Ontario weather riches up to -10 degrees Celcius but feels like -21 degrees Celcius.

The whole day news were telling everyone to stay home as much as possible today unless u have a four-wheeled drive vehicle.

It was really a chaos for most people and is so worrying for people that HAD to go work today. (like my dad) but he arrived at the location safely.

Menstrual CRAMPS!

Anybody got solutions to deal with cramps due to menstrual periods?? I have been having these cramps since the first time I had my period, at the age of 11.. so it's been like almost 12 freaking years!!! IT HURTS LIKE HELL!!! my symptoms are weird, I feel weak on both of my legs, I can't even get outta bed, a burning tummy and around my pelvis, it gives me goose bumps and I sweat like I were doing exercise!! HATE IT!! All this lasts for at least 3-4 days. It disturbs me when I'm working or having to go to school before, I had to skip few days at least every month just because of this symptoms. In mid 2006 I went to see a family doctor and she laughed as if it were a joke n simply said "Menstrual cramps are normal, live with it or take cramps pills!" SO FREAKING PISSED OFF!!! so please please... anybody... a little help to solve this issue?

After a long competition, it's finally down to three....

then Jenah was not chosen, so Chantal and Saleisha was left... They had to do the runway, and Chantal's dress made one of the dancers fall on his butt...OUCH!

but, after seeing Saleisha and Chantal doing the catwalk for their final exam, Chantal was being a little to stiffed and Saleisha was just having fun during the runway. They then had a long discussion between the panels deciding who is more qualified. There were bits and pieces that made Chantal and Saleisha qualified for the title, but in the end the winner was.....

Water Closet

An English schoolteacher was looking for rooms in Switzerland. She called upon the local schoolmaster to help her find an apartment that would be suitable. Such rooms were found, and she returned to London for her belongings. She remembered that she had not noticed a bathroom, or as she called it, "a water closet". She wrote to the schoolmaster and asked if there was a "W.C." in or near the apartment.

The schoolmaster, not knowing the English expression, was puzzled by the "W.C.", never dreaming that she was talking about a bathroom. He finally sought advice from the parish priest. They concluded that she must mean a Wayside Chapel. The lady received the following letter a few days letter.

Dear Madam:

The W.C. is located 9 miles from the house, in the heart of a beautiful grove of trees. It will seat 150 people at one time, and is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Some people bring their lunch and make a day of it. On Thursdays there is an organ accompaniment. The acoustics are very good. The slightest sound can be heard by everyone. It may interest you to know that my daughter met her husband at the W.C. We are now in the process of taking donations to purchase plush seats. We feel that his is a long-felt need, as the present seats have holes in them.

My wife, being rather delicate, hasn't been able to attend regularly. It has been six months since she last went. Naturally, it pains her not to be able to go more often.

I will close now with the desire to accommodate you in every way possible, and will be happy to save you a seat either down front or near the door, as you prefer.
